Ethan Freckleton began practicing yoga four years ago after debilitating lower-back pain almost sabotaged a two-week recording session in Hawaii before it ever began. He was introduced to viniyoga and then branched out into other hatha yoga classes as his back pain became a non-issue. Already a life coach by trade, Ethan was eager to integrate yoga teaching into his personal and professional practices. He completed his 200-hour yoga teacher training last year at Yandara Yoga Institute, where he was exposed to the eight limbs of yoga as well as the yin and yang practices of Hatha yoga. He then followed that up with advanced training in Yin and Restorative teaching practices. 

He is enthusiastic about the physical, mental and emotional perks of yoga practice for people of all ages and ability-levels. He offers Yin and Restorative classes for anyone who is ready to massage the muscles, calm the mind, and release and dissolve old emotions held deep in the tissues. He is also available for private lessons.

Yin & Yawn -

Yin Yoga--which includes a subset of restorative poses--doesn't work the muscles. Rather, it is a calming practice that does deep work in and around the ligaments and connective tissues surrounding the joints. Yin benefits everyone - from athletes to desk jockeys.
